Road to Recovery

Updated: Feb 18

As many of you know, I recently had major surgery. It was a decision that was not taken lightly. After years of physical pain, frustration and miscarriages, I had to say goodbye to what was causing so much turmoil. I entered this season knowing that my quality of life would change for the better and I would be released of most (if not all) the physical limitations I had become a prisoner of.

So, here we are, post-op and I'm making changes to my spiritual walk with God, physical fitness (limited for a few more weeks) and diet. After sitting down (literally) for four weeks while healing, I have had plenty of time to think on these things and prepare for change. As much as I looooove to have a clean house, even if that means spending the entire day cleaning, I have to take more time in self-care.

My hope is that you will join me on my journey as I travel down the road of self-care. You will see what effect this procedure causes to my hair, body and overall well-being. Follow posts here, Facebook and Instagram: Zedian Queen for weekly progress reports and updates.

We must do better for ourselves in order to be our best. Take care of yourself.
